For Phil, in memory of Dominic Nute

Today Phil Vrankovich joins me on my tandem.

Phil lives in California, but Emma and I were lucky enough to meet him many years ago, whilst on holiday on the Island of Hvar, in Croatia, where Phil lives over the summer.

I have many happy memories with Phil whilst with Emma.

He has been a tremendous help over the last few days in Croatia, organising campsites and keeping us 'youngsters' in check! Thank you, Phil. It's been a real pleasure.

Phil has just lost a very dear friend and I would therefore like to dedicate day 6 ride to Dominic Nute from Coventry UK. Phil knew Dominic through working in Angola together.

Phil remembers Dominic as a warm hearted lovable good guy who also visited Hvar on two occasions to meet up with Phil after retirement. This bicycle ride means a lot to Phil since he and Dominic rode in Croatia before.

So, in memory of Dominic Nute ...
